The program interview asks for your MARITAL status which is technically divorced (no matter how long you have been divorced) to help you determine the best filing status for your situation. If you have no qualifying dependents that will be SINGLE. If you wish to put SINGLE down as the MARITAL status you can ... there is no hard rule against doing so.
