The IRS has not released a date when they will be accepting tax returns.
TurboTax will allow e-filing before the IRS starts accepting returns. The e-filed return will be in a Pending state until the IRS starts to pull returns from their servers.
Did you already receive all of your W-2's from all your employers in 2022? Have you received all of your Form 1099's for interest, dividends or capital gains? If not, you are not ready to file a 2022 tax return.
