ONLINE program :
In the FILE tab step 1 you pay the program fee which you can do with a credit/debit card now before the efiling happens sometime in January. Payment of the online fee is usually not refundable but you can contact TT support to see what they can/will do for you.
Then in the FILE tab step 2 is where you can enter the bank info for direct deposit.
Finally in the FILE tab step 3 is where you can efile the return ... this can only happen when all your forms in your return are ready for efiling ... click on the REVIEW tab to see what is not yet ready and get an estimate of when it will be.
DOWNLOADED program: Purchase of the program upfront is the only way to get access to the program. To submit a refund request online, simply fill out our TurboTax Refund Request Form
