Get your taxes done using TurboTax

Well....Assuming you are using the "Desktop" software, since 2019 can only be done using the Desktop software at this time...

In the Windows desktop software, you would (I suspect the MAC would be similar):

1)  open that tax file

2)  Go to the upper left corner, and click on "File"

3)  Select "Remove State Return" from the dropdown menu.

4)  Click on the state return that you want to remove.  (Some folks have more than one state in their file)

5) hit the "Remove" button.

This removes all of the state return and any data in that particular file, but doesn't remove the state software that you may have already downloaded as a free set...or perhaps paid for.
