i think for anyone, no matter what's on your credit report and score, it's always good to have an open acct. showing a small bal. and timely payments each month. esp. if you pay the whole bal. off. so let's say you get approved for $1000 for the open sky card...try not to max it out or even spend half the bal. (unless you really have to). the lower the bal. and the ability to pay it off every month. should make your score go up.
