Standard deduction

We got the Standard Deduction in 2023 and 2024.  Last year we still got about 6 "other deductions" but this year those are all 0 and it says "you are receiving the standard deduction" and don't get them.  Was there a change in the law this year or did I enter something wrong?

Are you referring to itemized deductions on Schedule A or are you referring to credits?   Those are not the same thing.   What was on line 12 of your 2023 Form 1040?  Was it the standard deduction---or some other amount?   Did you enter itemized deductions like mortgage interest, property tax, gambling losses, charity donations, medical expenses, etc.?

2023 STANDARD DEDUCTION AMOUNTS

Single $13,850(+$1850)

Married Filing Separately.       $13,850 (+1500)

Married Filing Jointly.              $27,700 (+$1500)

Head of Household.                $20,800 (+1850)

Additional amounts for age 65 or older or legally blind

The program changed to show you the actual amount used rather than the potential.

Your 1040 line 12 is either standard or itemized deduction. The only other deduction is for Qualified Business Income. After that, there are many credits available. See Credits and deductions.

Your state may have carried over some of your federal itemized deductions.

In addition to credits and deductions, there are "adjustments to income" (see schedule 1, Part II) for a list.
