1098-T

My husband graduated last year (May 2019).  The last of his classes were paid for in 2018 using a Pell Grant and Scholarship from his school. All of that was reported on our 2019 taxes. Will he recieve a 1098-T for 2019? And if yes, what information would be on it?

If all tuition payments (from whatever source), were paid in tax year 2018, then you should not receive a 1098-T for 2019. However, I strongly recommend that your husband double-check with his educational institution to ensure that no monies whatsoever (from any source) were paid to the institution in 2019.
