If I use the standard milage deduction can I still also write off registration and repair costs?

The registration in addition to the standard mileage rate deduction are deductible as long as they are business related.   However; the repairs can not be deducted when you utilize the standard mileage rate deduction. 

 

If you decide to use the actual expenses method, additional auto-related expenses are deductible.
