Section 1244

Can I file Section 1244 in TurboTax Deluxe Desktop or do I need to upgrade to TurboTax Premier ?

Yes, you can use any version of the desktop software to report your Sect. 1244 (Restricted Stock) transactions; no upgrade required.   How do I enter Section 1244 stock in TurboTax?

 

TurboTax Online would require an upgrade to Premium, but you are fine using Deluxe if you're using TurboTax Desktop!
