SCorp Location Change - Cannot Efile

My Scorp address changed in December of 2019. Updated CA FTB. However, TurboTax won't let me Efile until the new form 8822 is released on 2/21/19.

What do I do? Does the whole return need to be filed by mail? Will there be a penalty assessed?

Thank you.

You don't need to complete form 8822.

Just show the correct address on the tax return for the S corporation and mark the box that indicates an address change.

Thanks for your assistance.
I thought so - but why isn't TurboTax letting me Efile until the new form is out, AND by mail using 8822 B on the 21st?

Should I file using my previous address, and THEN send an 8822?

You should have the ability to get support within the software program and I would ask TT this question.

The only other thought is you went into the form and started to complete it and were given the notice that the new version is not yet released.  If this is the case, go in and delete the form, perform a full recompute and see what happens.
