I'm assuming that the "Business" part of your return is the Schedule C. I can find two ways to get to where you want to be: first, under Federal Taxes > Wages & Income > Business Items you will see "Business Income and Expenses (Sch C)" Click the "Update" button which will take you to the beginning of the dialogs for this topic. Click "Yes" to work on you business income and expenses. Here you will see all of the Schedule Cs that you have created. All you need to do is click "Delete" next to the Schedule C that you want to remove and confirm the removal.

The other way to do this is to use the "Forms" method. Click View > Forms and a list of all the separate forms will appear. You will need to scroll down and locate the Schedule C that you want to remove. Select it, then click the "Delete Form" button on the bottom of the window where the Schedule C appears.

Hope this helps!

Are you using a Desktop version of TurboTax? Which solution doesn't work for you?

If you are using Home and Business:

  1. open the Business tab
  2. select Update next to Schedule C
  3. select Delete next to the name of the business
