asset entry

We did an extensive remodel on our rental property this year.  I'm trying to create a new asset entry for the remodel.  When I go direct to the asset entry form, it won't save my entries.  When I use the step by step guide it locks up on asset entry type (residential rental) and won't accept any of the options listed (ie rental, computer, car etc).  It says it needs more information and has a back button as the only option.

I had no issues creating these asset entries last year and they've carried over, but the programs not working this year.

how can I get the program to recognize and save the asset entry worksheet and enter into my taxes?

Please clarify which version of TurboTax you are using: Online or Desktop? Windows or Mac? If working online, which browser have you tried?

If you're working online, log out of TurboTax, refresh your browser, and clear your cookies and cache. Then restart your browser and log into TurboTax again.

I am using Turbo Tax Deluxe. Business equipment  (lawn mower, weed eater, etc.) was purchased. I added one piece of equipment and closed the screen. When I realized I needed to add more items, I couldn't find the screen again to add the other items.

Close out of the desktop completely, then reopen and let the program run its updates automatically before revisiting the Asset/Depreciation section.
