IRS WMR is telling me my refund is being processed and I have no date yet, my TT blue bar is full. I filed January 11th, accepted January 28th, my TT est date was the 17th, I just don't understand whats going on. I files so early I thought I'd see something by today.
When the blue line/ bar is complete, it means that the IRS has accepted your return and that you should have an estimated refund date soon(if you are expecting a tax refund).TurboTax just estimates your refund date based on the IRS 21 timeframe. For the most up to date information regarding your return, once it has been "Accepted" by the IRS, you would want to check your status on the IRS Where’s My Federal Refund? site.
The IRS issues most refunds in about 21 days, although some returns take more time to review.
When will I get my IRS tax refund?
Why do some refunds take longer than others?
Where’s My Refund? has a tracker that displays progress through 3 stages:
(1) Return Accepted "Received," (2) Refund Approved and (3) Refund Sent.
Once your refund status on the IRS shows "Refund Sent" it can take 1 to 5 business days for the financial institution to deposit funds into your account.
