A US Bank routing number is exactly 9 digits, no more or no less.  If you have a 10 digit routing number you need to contact your bank and get the correct number.

Double check with your bank and get the correct routing and account numbers.  You do NOT want to get those wrong.  Do not enter banking information into this software until you have made certain of the correct numbers to use for your direct deposit.

I've had the same checking account for 15 years and use this number every year on my taxes--so maybe US Bank uses 9, but my bank uses 10.  Thanks for the reply.  My bank is not going to change my routing number for any reason. And even the Intuit side bar states it will be between 10 and 12 digits.

My error in wording--it is the account number--not routing number and my ignorance sees the error.  Thanks.

That is all well and good but if you want a direct deposit for a tax refund you will have to use the 9 digit ABA or ACH routing number.  See this - https://www.chase.com/business/knowledge-center/manage/ach-vs-aba

Thanks, pilot error. Simple explanation is I wasn't reading; eye fatigue, Tax Fatigue.  Left to right instead of top to bottom.  I put the correct numbers in the wrong box. Done, fixed, completed. Thanks.
