Why is my data from prior year return not pre populating? I know I'm using the same user name and password as I see prior years return.

What version of TurboTax are you using? TurboTax Online or TurboTax Desktop?

I have the same question. This worked in the 2023 version. Why not in the 2024???

Here's some info on Transferring a Prior Year Return to help you if you're using TurboTax Desktop.  You can BROWSE to where your .tax2023 file is located on your computer, but if the file is in a cloud account, move it to your C drive. 

 

In TurboTax Online, if you Sign In using the same credentials as last year, you should see a Prior Year Summary. If it isn't there, it might be in a different account. Go here to find all of your accounts
