Why am I not shown the refund processing fee before I select pay with my refund?

I was not told that paying with credit/debit card was free and there will be a $39.99 charge for paying with my refund.

It should be shown right on the screen there you click the Pay by Credit Card or Pay By Refund button.

I did not interpret that my options to meant that I would be charged $39.99 for choosing deduct from my refund. I would have chosen the credit card option to avoid the $39.99 fee. I've already filed. I wish I could change it.

Are you using the Desktop program?  There was a screen similar to this one.  This is for California where the extra charge is 44.99 (not 39.99)
