The Internal Revenue Service sent out the first wave of stimulus checks on Saturday.  We don't know how long it will take for you to receive your payment.

Turbo Card and Stimulus Deposits - What you need to know

In order to deliver money as quickly as possible to those who need it, the IRS is sending stimulus payments to eligible taxpayers who filed a tax return in either 2019 or 2018 and chose to receive their refund via direct deposit into their checking account.  These taxpayers will automatically have their stimulus payment deposited into the account they received their refund.

We have not yet received confirmation from the IRS on whether they will be putting stimulus payments on prepaid debit cards.  However, we have noticed that the IRS has started depositing stimulus payments on some prepaid debit cards for taxpayers that chose to receive their refund through that method in tax year 2019 or 2018.  If you received your refund on a prepaid debit card in tax year 2019 or 2018, here is what you need to know:

  • I have access to my debit card: If you have access to your debit card (most people), there is nothing more you need to do.  If the IRS deposits a stimulus payment onto your prepaid debit card, you will be able to immediately use the stimulus funds upon deposit.
  • I don’t have access to my debit card: If you received a notification that you will be receiving your stimulus payment from the IRS on your prepaid debit card and no longer have access to it, we will have information coming shortly.  We encourage you to visit this site, where we are continually updating with the latest information and guidance. We know everyone is anxious to get their stimulus money and we are committed to helping our customers get access to their stimulus payment as fast as possible.

I am sorry, but we do not have access to the IRS timeline.

I still have no deposit so this morning I checked the IRS website and the tool to check your status is up. The IRS did NOT have and DD info for me on file, even though I used TT card. It stated "not enough info to do DD at this time" so I had to enter my DD info for my bank. Check the IRS website to see if they have your DD info on file. If I used TT card and they didn't have anything for me, chances are many other people are in the same situation.

I got an advance and had fees taken out. I used the IRS tool and it told me that they did not have my info. Submitted my info for DD to an account, NOT my Turbo card. Have to check back later for dd date.

This is goodbye for me, Turbotax should have learned their lesson in 2008, 12 years to get it right and couldn't. BYE

So when you went in and put your information in on the Portal App. Did you have to adjust the refund amount since you had the fees taken out and the advance ?.

I’m curious. When you go on the portal to fill out the DD information. Do you adjust the refund amount ?. Being though you had fees taken out and the advance?.
It asked how much was your refund amount and when I put it in (before the advance and fees), it came up as incorrect.

I just checked the irs website it says mine was sent today to a bank account. It shows the last 4 digits of the bank account number and it doesn’t match the account number on my turbo card! I checked my turbo card account and the money still isn’t there! Why is that?? And why is the turbo card app and website acting up?? I can’t sign in anymore! Where is my money turbotax!?

I checked the portal this morning and it said my stimulus money will be dd 4-15, today. I checked my turbo card and it is not in there yet? When will Turbo release our money?

Mine says the same thing. Numbers do not match up to my Turbo account. I can't sign in on the Turbo app either. What is going on? Where is our money? Are we getting the money due to account info not matching? The site does not show all of the account number, but last four are not the correct numbers, they seam to match the last four of your Social Security number.

SweetzC, you need to put in the gross refund amount without any fees taken out.

Everyone should check the "Get My Payment" tool if you haven't gotten your stimulus check yet here: https://www.irs.gov/coronavirus/economic-impact-payments ESPECIALLY if you got a refund advance and had fees taken out, because the IRS didn't have my info on file and I had to enter more information. Please check if you're unsure.

I did the Turbo tax Intuit debit card for my 2019 refund and paid fees and got an initial loan of $250 out of my refund of $1500.  The remainder of my refund went directly onto my turbo tax card and my turbo card routing and account number is on the tax return and I have also had my payroll deposited on this card since.  However, this morning I went on the new Get my payment portal on the IRS website to check on my stimulus payment since it was not on my card this morning and it told me that there was no direct deposit information on file for me.  So, I put in my credit union banking information.  So, if you are not seeing your stimulus payment on your turbo tax card check the irs tool and make sure they have your direct deposit information.  It seems like there has been so much confusion and no clear answers but it may be a case by case basis, I dont know, I am just sharing what happened to me.

I would advise anyone who had not received a deposit, to go to the irs website and enter your banking information. Clearly turbo tax, and it’s parent company do not care about customers, or they would have notified the ones, like myself who got their stupid card for a dumb advance that this was not going to work with stimulus payments. I also went to check my status and the irs said they had no information for me, and the turbo tax app is totally shut down, can’t even get on it, and when you call the number, it doesn’t even ring. I entered my real bank account information. I can’t believe they made this such a cluster **bleep**, for so many people. Plus, they are charging millions to file taxes, when they qualify to file for free through the irs, and have intentionally made it confusing, so that they can get your fees. Pro publica just did several pieces on them. I will NEVER use turbo tax again.

I did that but it said the information was incorrect. So I’m confused. I put the number before the fees were taking out and it didn’t go through.

SweetzC, what portal are you using? Are trying to track your income tax or your stimulus?

When will Turbo Card release our money? I know the system is overwhelmed, you can't use the app or call the number on the back of your card. The irs site states that my stimulus was DD today to my Turbo Card. Checked ATM and no money. Others have gotten their money. When will the deposits be released? Come on Turbo get it fixed. You should have been ready for this to happen.
