The 1040X will be ready sometime late February to mid March. You should not try to amend until your original return has been fully processed.
@xmasbaby0 is correct.
Since your refund amount changed, you'll need to file an amended return. Please see the TurboTax FAQ for the status of Form 1040-X.

I have already received a refund, why can't I just amend my taxes. What is causing the hold up
Turbo Tax won't have the Amended form 1040X ready until March 17. See

Here is a blank one to do it manually
The form is available now. Here is the list of federal form availability that shows that Form 1040-X is available.
@Miketoyota
I’m trying to amend my 2020 taxes by efile no luck but keep hearing it will be able to in March
@Miketoyota
The 2020 1040-X is available now. You'll need to paper file your amended return, since TurboTax doesn't currently support e-filing an amended prior-year return.
If you need to correct a form after you filed it, please see this Help Article for instructions on how to do this.
Please note, the 2021 Amendment 1040-X form may not be available yet. It will show up on the Help Article with a link once it is ready to use.
I really have don’t understand why you all don’t support efile amending 2020 returns your website says it does your employees tell me they do it’s so very frustrating I’m not using turbo any more why pay for something that can’t do anything for its customers I have to pay a cpa to efile it
We may have been confused with what year you were trying to amend. If you are amending your 2020 return, those can't be e-filed. You'll need to paper file your amended return, since TurboTax doesn't currently support e-filing an amended prior-year return.
@Miketoyota
Are you referring to tax year 2020 or tax year 2021?
@Miketoyota
For a 2020 amended return, in the help article: How do I amend my 2020 return? step 3 tells you that you would need to paper file your amended return.
@Miketoyota
@Miketoyota You began posting in the forum about e-filing amended returns for 2019or 2020 on Feb. 19 under your username Miketoyota. We keep telling you that you cannot e-file those amended returns but it seems like you do not believe any of the replies you get despite the TurboTax FAQ's, the TT expert replies, etc. By now you could have mailed those 1040X's and had them on the way to the IRS.
As already stated multiple times---only a 2021 amended return can be e-filed using TurboTax. Any earlier tax year has to be printed, signed and filed by mail.
The reality is that it is still taking the IRS a long time to process amended returns, so the little head start you would get by e-filing would not really even make much difference.
You can efile starting in 2019 !!!!!! You all do your homework please maybe turbo can’t but don’t know why they can’t
efiling a amended tax is 100 % better than mailing cpa can efile just hoping a company like turbo could
Beginning with the 2019 tax year, the IRS allows you to e-file amended tax returns. To amend a return for 2018 or earlier, you'll need to print the completed Form 1040-X and any other forms you're amending. Attach any necessary supporting documentation, such as:

What exactly do you not understand from this TurboTax support FAQ for e-filing an amended tax return - https://ttlc.intuit.com/community/amending/help/can-i-e-file-my-1040x-to-amend-my-return/00/26008
The TurboTax amend process for 2021 will be available soon. When it's ready, you can e-file your 2021 1040-X.
For years prior to 2021, you'll need to print and mail your amended return. Follow these instructions to amend a prior-year return.
Just because the IRS says the prior year, 2019 and 2020, amended return can be e-filed, does not mean that the personal editions of TurboTax will e-file those prior years.
