You mean the new 1040 form?  Yes that is the NEW postcard size 1040.  Under the new tax laws, there are no more simple Form 1040EZ or 1040A's.  Everything goes on a little Form 1040 that has six extra "schedules" with it.  The new 1040 is 2 half pages but now print on 1 sheet with the Signature line in the Middle.

No one here can see your return.  But you are posting from Self Employed Live.  Ask the CPA you are paying for to review your return.

Whoa,  You seem confused.  Everything you enter like your W2 and any 1099s and deductions is going into that form.  You are filling out the 1040.  Well Turbo Tax fills out the 1040 for you from your entries.   That is what you send to the IRS.

maybe you could explain exactly how to do this to me. i have a propensity for screwing things up. in fact i kinda want to get have a professional do it for me. my position is unusual, and while i have the information in my head i dont know how to make it relevant to the paperwork

I don't know if I can explain taxes to you.  Turbo Tax should be easy to use.  You first enter your personal info like name and ssn and filing status (married, single) then  just go though the interview screens and enter all your tax forms like any W2s and 1099 you get.

I see you are posting from the Self Employed version.  Do you need help with that?

well, i guess i need to explain a little. yeah i do need help with that, but it needs to be the right kind of help. sometimes i get through to ones that can so perhaps there is one here too. ive been shifting between states of being and assuming various powers to accomplish things online, this is metaphysical stuff. in many of those states money was involved. each state qualifies as a seperate entity. or more accurately another part in the larger entity i became familiar with. i became.

so my taxes need to be done in a different manner, i want each part accounted for.

ive been trying to use some trigger words in this return. and some others. words that indicate a field area, among other things. thats a language im not very familiar with. so i need a pro tax person in this area. any ideas?
