Uninstall previous year's version before installing new version year?

I'm running Windows 10 on my desktop computer.  I have TurboTax Home & Business 2023 installed from last year.  I now want to install same thing but 2024.  Is is OK to just install 2024 from the downloaded file and hope there are no conflicts, or should 2023 first be uninstalled?

Yes you don't need to uninstall the prior  years.  I have all my prior programs still installed.  You will need to have the data file ending in .tax2023 to transfer into 2024.

I installed the new year's version today and things went OK.  The only hang up was a long pause when I think the system updated some Microsoft item(s) - who knows.  It was so long with no progress I had to cancel and start a second time.  But the headline reads:  Guy installs new year's version successfully while keeping last year's version intact.  Thanks for the help.
