Turbotax 2022 Download Version - W2 import and update button does not work

I am using Turbotax 2022 download version on mac. Import/Update W2 does not work.

 

1. Import W2 does not work. When click import button, the program shows blank(empty) page.

2. I also tried to manual "update" w2. Unfortunately it has the same issue with blank page.

I have reported this issue to the moderators.  I, too, have desktop Premier on a Mac, and tried it out today.  I am also getting some of those blank white screens.  Ugh!   I suspect something that happened with most recent update.   Will try to circle back to you when they reply.

@xmasbaby0 @pedro_feng Did you guys figure out a workaround? I'm having the same issue with TT2022 desktop for macos11.. can't input 2022 W2 personal income, can't file return...

It is due to mac system version. You need to upgrade your mac system to the latest version. After upgrade, I am able to fix the problem.

Hi @pedro_feng Thank you for the reply.

I eventually figured out a workaround - doing it the old school "paper" way. 

 

1) go to View menu at top menu bar

2) select Go To Forms (apple-T)

3) click on Form 1040

4) scroll down to line 1a for W2, and manually enter the info there...
