Tax Refund

I recently filed taxes and they were approved and sent to my bank account. My account was closed unfortunately and I called the IRS about it to be mailed a paper check and they stated that my refund was sent to cross river bank and gave me a number to call for them. I have called and called and still was not able to get ahold of someone. Can someone please update me on why my return was sent to a bank I know nothing about!?!?

Unless you opted to get the 5 day early refund or the option to have your TurboTax account fees deducted from your tax refund, the IRS would have sent the federal tax refund to the bank you designated on your tax return.  If the bank account was closed then the IRS would have mailed a refund check to the address on the tax return.

So, did you opt to get the 5 day early refund?

Or did you opt to have the TurboTax account fees paid from the federal tax refund?
