Maybe referring to this conversation earlier this year, wehr certain tax documents imported to the Desktop product DO get stored in your main Intuit account.  (but not your actual tax return)

Not sure what you mean.   If you used the desktop download software, your tax return is not stored online.  It is only stored on your own hard drive or any back up device you used like a flash drive.

Thanks for the link.

I had the same problem as described in that link and I'm sure many. Hope Intuit fix this serious problem

If you check your acct, you'll find a "document" section. There are tons of tax forms some how being kept there, and no option to delete.

Intuit / Turbo tax somehow someway managed to pulled the documents onto their site without user knowledge, then stored there without reasonable purposes. Better yet, no option to delete either. Doesn't matter if it is tax forms or the actual tax return, are violating trust, exposing users to identity theft, among others. Hope they fix this ASAP.

@tuandavidvo Been using TurboTax desktop and online editions for decades.  When I sign onto my online test account there are no Document listed for any of the tax years 2024 thru 2012.

However, along with Documents there is also a link for Linked Accounts.  Clicking on that link takes you to the screen for Adding an Account.  What is interesting is this statement on page -

Sign in to your accounts and get your tax forms auto-imported as soon as they're ready.

I do not have any linked account and do not plan to add any.  Curious if others who are seeing there documents imported into the online account have Linked Accounts active.
