Stimulus Relief

I’ve searched around and haven’t found a concrete answer yes or no answer. If we filed through Turbo Tax and paid their fees by deducting them out of the refund are we still going to get the stimulus relief direct deposited into that bank account we listed for the tax refund?

You don't have an answer because we don't have an answer. Something like this is not an automatic process. There has to be negotiations between the bank and the IRS. If an agreement is reached that they will cooperate in having this be an option, it still has to be programmed. It is not the same as getting your refund.

We are still waiting for IRS guidance regarding updating or providing direct deposit information for the stimulus payments and how they will be distributed to these type of accounts. We will have more information once the government finalizes the details.
