My status for the last few weeks has been "Your tax return is still being processed. A refund date will be provided when available." Today the status is now "We have received your tax return and it is being processed". When I called the IRS 10 days ago, the lady said I needed to verify my identity and would be getting a letter. I went ahead and did it online. Is this now the new status showing it's being processed since I verified my identity? Is it moving through now?
Identity verification usually takes a while. But the IRS is seriously backlogged because of all the extra stimulus filings, as well as several million unprocessed 2019 returns left over from the COVID shutdown. In addition, the Where's My Refund site has been erratic and unreliable. But if TT told you the IRS has Accepted your filing for processing, then the government has it. (Approved is a later step, but TT receives no further updates once Accepted. ) Lots of other folks are still waiting, so please continue to be patient.

In addition, the IRS has just started sending out Stimulus payment #3, and it will take a few weeks to get them all out. It comes separately, not as part of your 2020 tax refund. See:
