Should I be concerned?

Last April, I went from having housemates in a house to living on my own in an apartment. As a result, I have two 2022 MN CRPs. National Handicap Housing Institute is my new property owner. The paper copy of my 2022 MN CRP (from my new property owner) and the electronic version (from my new property owner) TurboTax shows are both correct. By that, I mean none of the “Property Information” boxes are checked. However, the 2022 Form M1PR that TurboTax shows has the “Nursing Home or Foster Care Resident” box checked. No matter how many times I go back and edit that CRP, that box ends up checked when I review my 2022 Form M1PR on the “Let’s look over your info one last time” TurboTax screen. Furthermore, some information that I entered on both CRPs is not there. From my CRP from my old property owner, the “Property Owner Name” field, and agent “Daytime Phone” field are both empty. From my CRP from my current property owner, the fields for “Property Owner Name” and “Managing Agent Name, If Applicable (please print)” should both say, “National Handicap Housing Institute,” but they are empty.

If you are having an issue with the entries in the CRP forms not matching what you entered, you might try deleting the CRP forms and then going back to the interview and completing them again.

  1. Open or continue your return in TurboTax.
  2. In the left menu, select "Tax Tools" and then "Tools".
  3. In the pop-up window Tool Center, select "Delete a form".
  4. Select "Delete" next to "(name of form)" and follow the instructions.

If you are concerned that the forms you were given by the landlords are not correct, contact them for more information. See here for more information from Minnesota.

@MonikaK1,

Thank you for your advice. However, I feel like it was similar to the problem I posted about. In other words, I think I had already done as you suggested, with the same result in the end.
