Reporting Payroll year error. Forms print out as 2024 not 2025.

They know.  It will be fixed in an update.

How do we correct if filed, and not noticed that it said 2024.  

1096 same issue, but the actual 1099 NEC said 2025 on it.

A correction can be filed by mail with both the Form 1096 and the 1099-NEC.  Use the links below to complete it and mail to the address on the Form 1096. Copy your Form 1099-NEC that was correct and create a new Form 1096 using the link below. Add a note the reason is to send the corrected year. On Form 1099-NEC simply write duplicate or copy.

• Form 1099-NEC  This form is designed to be used for any year and the year is inserted on the form.
