You received an email from TurboTax for the rejected tax return. What exactly doe the email indicate for the rejection code and the rejection message?
IND-031-04 The primary tax payers AGI or Self select PIN from last year does not match the IRS records. I went back to the Turbo Tax site and it prompted me to input the AGI from last years taxes and it rejected me again. I am doing the taxes for my father who just recently passed away on 3/7/2020 and my mother who is now a widow. I use Turbo Tax every year with absolutely no issues. What am I doing wrong? Please help.
My taxes keep getting rejected. I have pulled up my returns from last year so I know the AGI is correct. It then says it could be the pin is different from last year. I have put what I think was last years pin but an not sure. Is there anything I can do?
