Rejected Tax Return: Separate AGIs when filing jointly??

I'm assisting my mother-in-law with her taxes.  In 2019, she and her husband filed their 2018 taxes jointly, so the AGI is one number.

My father-in-law passed away in late November of 2019.  Since they had joint income for almost the entire year of 2019, we filed jointly for 2019 as well.

We were notified this morning that the tax return was rejected for error IND-032-04 - 'SpousePriorYearPIN' or 'SpousePriorYearAGIAmt' in the Return Header must match the e-File database."

When we go into TurboTax to fix it, it is asking for their AGIs as two SEPARATE questions.  It asks, "To e-file successfully, the IRS needs [mother-in-law's] adjusted gross income (AGI) from [mother-in-law's] 2018 tax return."  And it asks the same question for her husband.  But they filed JOINTLY in 2018, so the AGI is ONE number.

The system seems to be asking for two separate AGIs from 2018, but there is only ONE AGI.  So, do I use the same number for both questions??

And to clarify -- the error message says they need my father-in-law's AGI.  I entered their 2018 AGI as my mother-in-law's AGI, but I apparently didn't enter anything for his.

So, to fix it, do I enter the same number for BOTH questions?
