If you requested to have the TurboTax account fees deducted from your federal tax refund, the IRS will send the refund to a third party processor to have the fees and the service charge deducted. The third party processor will deduct the TurboTax fees plus the service charge and then attempt to direct deposit the remaining refund balance into the account that you entered on your tax return.

For the status of your tax refund you will need to contact the third party processor, Santa Barbara Tax Product Group, using their website - https://www.sbtpg.com/

The thing is is that when I called the IRS and turbo tax they asked me to verify my bank and I did and they said my bank routing number was wrong. They never said my routing number was on there the only one they told me about was the routing number to a bank called MVB bank that I’ve never heard of.

MVB bank is where the federal tax refund is initially deposited when you request to have your TurboTax account fees paid from the federal tax refund.  The account fees and the service charge are deducted from the federal tax refund.  The remaining refund is then direct deposited into the bank account you selected when the federal tax return was filed.

How can I find my bank info?

Bc its saying on my return that its mvb bank? I called the irs because it said online that my money was direct deposited.  I see now that I choose for turbo tax to take the money out of my refund. But I had the irs put a trace on my money & stop it. What do I do now?

Why doesn't TurboTax Support admit they use an intermediate bank, instead of referring the customer back to the IRS ?
