I have just filed me taxes using TurboTax Free and under line 48200 on my Express NOA, there is a "Return Transfer" of $162.00. My return is now $162.00 less than was initially tabulated. What is this amount for? I did not agree to pay a fee for services and this didn't happen in previous years filing with TurboTax.
Thanks,
r.a.
If you opted to have the TurboTax fees deducted from your refund by using the Refund Processing Service, the IRS sends the refund to the third-party processor to have the TurboTax fees along with the service charge deducted, and the remaining funds are deposited into the account specified on your return.

I am not in the United States so I have nothing to do with the IRS. I am in Canada and opted for the FREE turbotax package. Why was I charged? You haven't paid attention to my question.
Please let me know why I have lost $162.00. In past years, this did not happen with TurboTax.
