Refund advance

Has anyone actually gotten a loan advance ? I e filed  and the IRS accepted my return on 1/20/22. I opened the credit karma account and chose their refund advance as payment. Site says  the advance is funded in an hour to 48 hours of IRS accepting my return. I have emailed credit karma days ago and still nobody has gotten in touch with me

I have reached out and nobody is responding back to me so there’s that, and according to these generic FAQ you answering everyone with my advance should have been here as the IRS had already accepted my efile refund! So what do I do now ??

We have received feedback that some are having issues and we are investigating. However, Credit Karma is the issuer of the Refund Advance and they are the only ones that can assist with the status of your advance. You can contact them by clicking here

Been with turbo tax for years and never had an issue until now! Haven’t received my refund advance and nobody with credit karma or turbo tax can seem to get me on the phone with someone who knows what’s going on and keep telling me to call the other company! RIDICULOUS

This is ridiculous customer service at this point to just keep blowing off your customers. This is now 7 days after my refund was accepted. Please get me some answers and my advance

You do understand that the thousands of us experiencing these issues have already reached out to Credit Karma and they have NOTHING to do with the loan approval. A third party y'all involved First Century Bank is the bank for approvals who also have no freaking clue about anything.

Bottom line is, your company falsely advertised a refund loan making it seem like Credit Karma was the responsible party when they just release the money once the funds are received.

These generic FAQs are just as ridiculous as your agents answering these calls.

Never again will I ever use turbotax! Your answers are pure B.S. the links given are nothing but run around! I will be sure to tell everyone I know to go elsewhere for their tax needs!

my girlfriend did it, she received her refund within 24-48 hours with credit karma. she called credit karma (not emailed) waited until they answered because there is a wait time on the phone (pretty sure like 20min) then she told the CK rep that she had applied and had been approved for her loan with turbotax and is calling to make sure they know that she is supposed to be receiving money into her CK account. they said yes and told her it should be in her account within 24-48hrs and it is based off of TURBOTAX approval process. she then called turbotax to make sure she and CK and turbo themselves were all on the same page. making sure that on their end it said she was approved and was supposed to be receiving the amount she was granted within 24-48hours. they said yes. after that she just waited and got her money within that time span. she received a text saying she was approved and she received a notification from CK when her deposit hit. so no. turbotax did NOT lie. just make sure youre polite and follow the steps correctly and the outcome will be as promised.

I just spoke to First Century Bank because I haven’t received my refund advance loan yet. My taxes were accepted on 2/6. I was advised that mine is prequalified and they’re waiting on the IRS to process the returns before the funds released Rep did say that the IRS is backlogged. I hope they process everyone’s return.

I have come to believe that this refund advance is just a joke and just a trick to get people to sign up for Credit Karma. I have used TurboTax for years, and I am truly considering not using them anymore. Simply because of this ridiculous joke of a contract partnership they have with Credit Karma. I have never been able to use it this year. I was told that I was going to get $3000 and so I created an account and set up a thing with Credit Karma only to find out after the fact that oh no that was not gonna happen. They just said that but no it’s not really gonna be any something I get so therefore they tricked me into getting an account with them rather than just depositing it into my checking account like I would’ve done, anyhow had I not thought I was going to get the advance I think that that alone is reason for me to be with TurboTax, because I have heard nothing but bad things about this advanced thing and they don’t seem to really help anybody or very few people in that matter and they can cancel your  Advance for something so simple as that you have a letter spelled differently in your name it’s just stupid reasons and I think it’s just a big ploy to get people to sign up for their accounts and I’m very disappointed with TurboTax for working with somebody like that
