Recover a Filed Return

Hello all,

I filed my taxes through turbotax deluxe, and I saved what appears to be only a link that opens up Turbotax, but not a PDF of the return. Since filing, I opened turbotax, allowed it to make regular updates, and it now appears that my numbers are different- or at the very least, my refund amount is different. I have searched high and low, and I do not see the PDF of the return saved on my desktop. Nor am I able to find it on turbotax- just the updated documents in turbotax after the update. Is there any other way to get a hold of the numbers in the return that I filed?  Thx!

Unfortunately, if you did not make a paper copy for your records before or immediately after filing,

when TurboTax update changes your return and changes the IRS forms, your original return is lost and there is no way to get it back.

Always print a copy of your completed tax return for your records, and review it carefully before e-Filing.
You will need it if you are audited by the IRS, or to amend if a TurboTax update changes your return or for any other reason,

AND, to find your AGI next year.
