Recieved CP501 from IRS.

I purchased the gauranteed accuracy package and have been attempting to contact TurboTax for the last 10 days without success regarding these letters (of which payment is due today).

AUDIT SUPPORT

TurboTax has a special phone number for help with IRS/state tax letters, which will be easier than going through regular Customer Support.   At the page below, click on the blue button that says "Get Help from TurboTax Support".  Then it will ask you what tax year is your letter.  Then it will ask you what the letter concerns. Then it will show you the phone number during posted business hours.

The IRS is stating that you have a balance due on your tax return that was filed.  Did you fail to report income or enter income incorrectly on the tax return?  The IRS notice should tell you exactly what the IRS added, changed or deleted from the filed return to arrive at the balance owed.
