RECEIVED INCORRECT REFUND AMOUNT

I am again posting until my issue is resolved. My refund is over $1,000 short. I have no offsets, I filed for FREE, information was entered correctly. There is no mistake on my end. No debts. Nothing. Why am I ROBBED out of over $1,000?!? It’s even more disappointing when IRS the impossible to reach is of ZERO help, and TurboTax has robots that say the same thing over and over. Where is my money???? Am I receiving the remaining portion at some point???? DO NOT COMMENT HERE SAYING TO CONTACT IRS, I DID. THE PROBLEM LIES WITH TURBOTAX. WHY ARE THERE THOUSANDS OUT OF MONEY RIGHT NOW?

On this public forum, we do not have detailed information about refund processing. 

 

First, have you checked the IRS' Where's My Refund website?  It may have information about a correction or an offset.  For more details on why your refund could be less than expected, please see this Help Article.
