Quick Employer Forms unable to open PDFs

I am unable to print or view 1099 forms created in TurboTax 2023 Online created in Quick Employer forms.  A new tab is created with the below PDF code with a blue Open button, but the PDF won't open.

Is anyone else having this issue or have a suggestion to resolve?

Save them as PDF files ... download them and use a PDF reader like Adobe to open/view/print the forms.

Thank you Critter-3 for your response.  The issue is I'm unable to preview, save as pdf or print.  I contacted Turbotax support and was on the phone for an hour without resolution.  We both concluded it's a software issue.

I am having the exact same issue. Were you able to resolve the PDF Print issue?

I am using Chrome browser. I will try with another browser like Edge or Firefox and confirm if works. Thanks

It did work for me after I right clicked and selected download Link or save as and it downloaded the PDF file.

No, view/printing issue was not resolved. However, I recreated forms using desktop so I was able to print and mail 1099s and W-2s before 1/31 deadline.
I successfully e-filed using TurboTax online. Downside was having to input data twice and ensuring there were no errors on the online version. Good luck.

I am also unable to print or get the pdf for my 1099s.  What worked?

The developers are aware of the issue and are looking into it. The current workaround is to select the button that says: State Filing: W-3, 1096(1099*) to print.

I received the same message in Chrome while working on CY 2024 1099s.   The solution I found was to right click the blue  "Open" button under the long pdf #, then click "open link in new tab" in the drop down menu that opens.   The PDF will then open in Adobe.

Thank you.  This is the solution.  Simple, but I had to go through a lot of bad/ misunderstood answers before getting to your solution, that worked immediately.  Garry   Full Five Stars
