Purchased the PLUS benefit, but cannot access 2016 tax return.

I signed up for the PLUS Benefit a few weeks back to access my 2016 tax return. However, when I try to download this 2016 tax return, I get a reject asking me to upgrade to PLUS Benefit!! Which I cannot do again anyway, since this option is now greyed out in the upgrade page, and labeled as "my current product". Please advise how to proceed to download my 2016 tax return.

If PLUS is grayed out, that means you are already in PLUS, and that's what your image confirms.

You said you "signed up" for PLUS a few weeks back.   But have you actually paid for it?  You have to pay the 19.99 by credit/debit card to actually unlock prior returns in the same account.   If you haven't yet paid for it, we can tell you all the steps to pay for it.

And are the 2016 and 2018 returns in the SAME account?
Have you already filed the 2018 return and upgraded to PLUS after filing?   Or is the upgraded 2018 return still in preparation?

How could I already be in PLUS if I had not paid for it? Payment may have failed, I am not sure. So, please tell me the steps to pay for it. I started filing my 2018 return  before upgrading and did not complete it.

Okay, finally I managed to pay and download my 2016 return, after following the instructions on another post. No need for you to reply. Thanks.
