Problem with Deluxe edition and 1099r

Is the following true?  I have a municipal retirement that is not subject to taxes as it's from an injury incurred in the line of duty.

Caution! If you have 1099r from OPM code 3 disability Turbo put 5b of 1040 non taxable.
It screwed my submission it
is in taxable IRS 1040 line 5b
should be blank.
Now have wait give bogus file refund to amend and resubmitted.

@Fotoman1 Oh OK...No there is not any difference in how the Form 1099-R is used between the different TurboTax editions.  It can only follow the IRS rules and regulations for the 1099-R.

Is there an amount entered in box 2a of the form 1099-R?

If box 7 has a code of 3 for disability, are you older then the minimum retirement age from your employer?

Is the amount on your Form 1040 Line 5b a 0 (zero)?

That was a post from a review of TurboTax Deluxe 2025 on Amazon.

Since I would be subject to using that box I was curious as to whether or not TT is treating it differently than in the it has done in the past.
