Please describe what problem you are having in printing the 2018 return. How are you printing, and where is the roadblock? Is there any error message?
Are you using Online TurboTax or the desktop software (CD/download)?
Are you wanting to print a copy to review prior to filing? Or are you printing to file a return by mail? Or have you already filed and are wanting to print a copy for your records?
I saved 2018 return on my MAC computer. When I go to downloads, it only brings up 1040. I need my 1099's for refinancing home. How do I retrieve and print.

You need to explain more. Please answer the following:
"I saved 2018 return on my MAC computer."
But how was it prepared? Was it prepared on the Mac in desktop software (CD/download), or was it prepared in Online TurboTax?
"When I go to downloads, it only brings up 1040."
Since you mention "downloads", does that mean it was prepared online? And if so, in the PDF you download from your online TurboTax account do you only find the Form 1040, but not the additional schedules and worksheets?
If it was prepared Online, we can tell you a way to download a larger PDF that has all the extra worksheets. TurboTax does not have actual copies of your official Forms 1099, however. TurboTax only has the data from the 1099's that you entered into the program. So it will have a worksheet for each 1099.
seems to be...that since I used the free version of turbotax to complete my 2018 taxes....that I cannot print a PDF file of the taxes unless I upgrade (and pay) to a different version. Is this correct? I hope not...or TT loses yet another customer.
You can always get the current year free edition return.
Try printing from the Print Center
Log back in your TurboTax account and "add a state" to open the return back up (you are not really adding a state, just to open it back up), then
Click on Tax Tools on the left side of the online program screen.
Then click on Print Center.
Then click on Print, save or preview this year's return. Choose the option Include government and TurboTax worksheets

Or are you looking for a 2017 return you did last year in 2018?
I am ready to print my 2018 tax return for filing. I says something like forms not ready. It also did not let me into my state return. It should be noted this produce was purchased in April when I did my extention. I replaced my computer and the tec guy moved all data from my old to this one. Clearly the 2018 forms are completed and ready so what is happening? Richard
I finish the check and when it is ready to print the program says it is updateing for updates it take forever then returns to the screen saying need to update forms

If you used the desktop CD/Download editions installed on your computer, the only copy of your tax data file and any PDF's will be on the computer where the return was created. TurboTax does not store online any returns completed using the desktop editions.
Or go to this IRS website for free federal tax return transcripts - https://www.irs.gov/individuals/get-transcript

You have to sign onto your 2018 online account using the exact same user ID you used to create the 2018 online account.
Close all TurboTax windows on your web browser (including this one). Copy and paste the account recovery website link onto a new web browser window and run the tool.
Use this TurboTax account recovery website to get a list of all the user ID's for an email address. Run the tool against any email addresses you may have used - https://myturbotax.intuit.com/account-recovery
If none of the user ID's received will access your 2018 account, then use the option shown in blue on the account recovery website, "
Try something else
"
