Prepaid taxes

I knew I had taxes due so I prepaid them with a credit card. Now, Turbotax wants me to pay again with a credit card to file them. How can I get around this problem and file my taxes on line?

Did you pay it with an extension to file?  Or as an Estimated payment?  When did you pay it?

To enter Federal or State Estimated Taxes Paid, including a state estimated payment made in January for the prior year, go to

Federal on left or at top. Personal (Home & Business)

Deductions and Credits at top

Then scroll way down to Estimates and Other Taxes Paid

Estimated - click the Start or Update button

For Extension:

Other Income Taxes - Click the Start or Update button

Next page second section Payments with Extension

Either Visit All or Click Start or Update by the extension you paid

Oh wait,  If it was neither of those then say you will mail a check since you already paid.  When you paid it by credit card what did you pick for the type of payment?

I prepaid state income tax.  How do I claim this?
