Imported four txf files for brokerage transactions. Comparing the TT results to the data used to generate the txf files, the net gain/loss for three of four 1099-B worksheets are correct to the penny while the fourth is off by $0.10. Exported the TT Capital Asset Sales Worksheets (3 of them for the 1099-B in question) in PDF and captured the results in a spreadsheet. The sum of the TT Proceeds, Cost Basis, and Gain/Loss columns match the external data, but the Cost Basis value on the TT 1099-B Brokerage Statement Summary Table is off by $0.10. Values are in dollars and cents, so shouldn't be a rounding error. Wouldn't expect this to be a simple TT calculation error, but need to satisfy my curiosity. Any ideas?
