Mistake from turbo tax

Hi, I have a problem with my tax return. It’s still in pending status after 7 weeks. I contacted the IRS and they said it’s because a extra 50$ was placed in funds not received for the stimulus. I did not add this amount . Turbo Tax did. The lady I spoke to said there are hundreds of tax returns that are being held for this same reason. I wanted to report this issue. Thanks

I am flagging your post for the Moderator.   However, TT uses the information that you enter and answers to the questions to calculate this, and there have been no reports of a widespread systemic error.  And $50 is an odd amount relative to the stimulus payments of $1200 and $600.

Or do you mean $500 instead of $50?  The CARES Act from March 2020 stipulates a $500 allowance per child dependent.
