I am flabbergasted by the federal & state government as a whole. I work to hard for me not to receive what is due to me. I was shorted over $3,000 on my federal, which I have already received my letter on what will be deducted for my taxes. IRS adjusted my refund & this sbtpg LLC company dispersed my refund & their calculations were incorrect. My refund was $7919 & I only received about $2900 not including my state. It seems that I’ve been off set twice for the same thing. I want my money & I need it now!!!!!! If I was RICH I wouldnt have this issue. The rich can lie abt their earnings & hide in off shore accounts but u wanna go over the small people with a fine toothed comb…..,,,SMMFH 🤬
Is the amount sent/issued by the IRS the same as the refund amount shown on your federal tax return Form 1040 Line 35a? - https://www.irs.gov/refunds

Are you also receiving a state tax refund? If so, the state refund is sent directly to you based on how you chose to receive the state tax refund, it does not go through the third party processor.

If you requested to have the TurboTax account fees deducted from your federal tax refund, the IRS will send the refund to a third party processor to have the fees and the $40 service charge deducted. The third party processor will deduct the TurboTax fees plus the $40 service charge and then attempt to direct deposit the remaining refund balance into the account that you entered on your tax return.
