How do I import my 2018 tax data?
If you are using the TurboTax online editions, see this TurboTax support FAQ for transferring last year's data to the 2019 online tax return - https://ttlc.intuit.com/community/entering-importing/help/how-do-i-transfer-last-year-s-return-into-turbotax-online/01/25953
This is the only information ever posted. It does not work, but no one seems to care and still copies and pastes it as the solution. The closest I've found to a real answer is that the website is broken and is missing the tab.
@donkeykong3x3 what is your question? About transferring 2018? Where is your 2018 tax return? Did you use the online version? Do you want to transfer it to 2019 Online or Desktop program?
Are you signed into the same exact online account? That's common to end up with multiple accounts. First LOG OUT of whatever TurboTax account you're logged into right now. Then use this TurboTax account recovery website to get a list of user ID's for an email address. Run the tool against any email addresses you may have used
https://myturbotax.intuit.com/account-recovery/
If you used the Desktop CD/Download program then the only copy is on your computer and not saved or stored online.

What is the roadblock? Do you not remember the user ID/password?
Here's how to recover access to an account, reset password, etc., and also looks to be sure you don't have more than one account. Many people end up with multiple accounts without realizing it.
You can have up to 5 accounts that use the same email address for notification purposes. A User ID may be an email address, but it doesn't have to be. It might be only part of an email address, or it can be anything at all.
To get a list of your User IDs and recover account access, reset password, etc., you can use the tool at the link below. When using the tool, try using your phone number first. After that, if necessary, then run the tool on your email address(es) you can access.
NOTE: Before running the account recovery tool below, log out of all Intuit accounts including this user forum, or you might end up in a loop. Then clear your browser Internet cache, close your browser, then reopen it, and go to the link below. You may wish to copy this link so you can paste it into the new browser session.
https://myturbotax.intuit.com/account-recovery
If still no luck after running that on your phone number and email address(es) that you can access, here's another method:
Go back to the tool again, but this time leave the data field blank, and choose the small blue link that says "Try something else", and it will look you up by SSN and other parameters.
I have last year’s -(2018) taxes on my computer. I started my 2019 tax return and the program asked me something like: “would you like to load last year’s information. I said yes and it loaded all my info from 2018. I began filling out the return and got to a point where I wanted to stop. I couldn’t find a “stop and save file” prompt so I hit “delete", thinking such a prompt would show up there. No such prompt appeared. Instead it just deleted the program. When I went back in there was no request about transferring data and there was no data entered. I confirmed that my 2018 return info was still on my computer, but I couldn’t figure out how to enter it into my 2019 Turbotax program. When I went to the start a new return button, the 2019 program started asking me all the questions necessary for my “personal information” including if I wanted to file jointly with my wife. Is there some way I can reload the 2018 info? What did I do to have that option disappear?
I use the Mac desktop/download version only for my taxes and did not log in while registering the software. When I log in for the fun of it on the web or on my iPhone and iPad, it proceeds to “We’re saving you time and improving accuracy by pulling all of last year’s info…” I don’t know what’s going on here. I did efile of course last year, but am not aware the return is stored on a server. On my iPad, Turbotax is offering “Your tax returns and documents: Amend (change) 2018 return, Download/print return (PDF), My Docs”. I haven’t accepted any of these and don’t know what’s inside.

Online TurboTax would know absolutely nothing about any 2018 return prepared in desktop software. They are not automatically sync'd in any way. And prior desktop returns are not available online.
Did you happen to "look" at Online TurboTax last year and preliminarily start a 2018 return, just like you may have now apparently started a 2019 return online?
In that same section (Your Tax Returns & Documents) where you saw those options above, what is shown for "status?"
No one is going to know anything about what's in your 2018 PDF. You can view the 2018 PDF to see if you recognize the info.

I don’t see the word “status” anywhere. When I click on the Download PDF, I get “To download your past TurboTax returns, you need to register your account first.”, which appears to indicate that I may have logged last year like now, but no more. So it looks like there’s no actual info inside. Thank you.
When you go to that Tax Returns and Documents section and choose 2018, what is the text shown underneath the words Federal Tax Return, next to the picture of a USA map? It should say started, printed, accepted, rejected, ready to mail, etc. If it says "started", that means one was begun but never finished in that account. It should also show what edition was used last year for the return.
The message "you need to register your account first" to view the PDF only means that you didn't pay for an online TurboTax return last year. Folks who started an online return last year but didn't finish/pay, or who did finish but filed their 2018 return in Free Edition, have to register to get access to their 2018 PDF.

I thought what you were describing was for a Mac.
I'll ask our Mac expert to review your situation. @macuser_22 Are you available to help out here?

I’m sorry. Yes, the word “status” is there. “Federal Tax Return, Where can I find the status of this return?”
What is the rest of the wording underneath the words "Federal Tax Return?"
If it says "started", there is no status to check since "started" means an online return was never filed in that account. I've attached an image below that may make it more clear. Please click to enlarge:

@ dmcnifffz
While waiting for macuser_22 to assist you, please clarify exactly how you were doing it. Did you follow these steps in the FAQ below when you started the new return the second time? The FAQ tells how one can transfer a 2018 return into a new 2019 return on a Mac. When you follow all the steps in the FAQ below, do you see the option "Use a tax return that's on my computer?"
If those are the exact steps you tried, but you didn't encounter the "Use a tax return that's on my computer" then we'll have to wait for macuser_22 to help here.

TurboTax save on a Mac it the same as other Mac applications - Top menu bar -> File -> Save (or the "command" key and "S" key).
Importing from the prior years return can only be done as the first step in a new tax return. Use Top menu bar -> File -> New Tax Return. After the "Begin" screen yiu should be asked to choose last years tax return to import.
Can someone please help me. I need a copy of 2018 Income Tax. I cannot print the one that I submitted. I need to meet with Social Security and I must have a copy of the return. This is time sensitive because I only have until January 31.
If you are having trouble accessing your prior year return, you can still order a copy from the IRS.
Please refer to the following link to obtain a copy of your tax transcript from the IRS. How do I get a copy of my tax return or transcript ...

What does "cannot print" mean? You'll need to describe what/where the roadblock is for anyone to offer a suggestion.
Did you use Online TurboTax for 2018 or desktop software (CD/download)? Have you located the 2018 PDF?
