There was no "stimulus tool" to get the stimulus in 2021.   The only way to get the stimulus payments in 2021 was to use the recovery rebate credit on a 2020 tax return.    You probably answered something incorrectly since you are confused.   As to whether your tax return will be rejected, we cannot say.   The IRS will begin to accept/reject e-files on January 24.

Do not try to change anything on your return.   Do nothing to it.   Wait to see if it is accepted or rejected.   If it is rejected you can make corrections and re-file it.   If it is accepted with your mistake you will just have to wait and see what they do.  It could go under review and take a long time to be processed.   They will probably catch a mistake you made with the stimulus but you will just have to wait it out.

It asked me if I used the tool to get my stimulus that was on the IRS website and I selected that but I didn't use the tool for stimulus I remembered and it was directly deposited because it's and turbo tax had connection to my bank account, and it also asked me for my identification card info (my state id) I entered that right.. I didn't work in 2020, but I have my 2019 agi which turbo tax did not ask me for and the agi was the only thing I needed to finish my return what is above is what happened, and was worried about that. Unless you have any understanding of this I am going to wait and see if the IRS will accept the return.                                                                             PS. Correct me wrong if that's not what your form was asking me about with the IRS stimulus option, which seemed to be strange to see that option, other then that it asked me for my state identification card info on that page.

@Wwal721 You have posted in at least two threads here in the user forum about this.   You need to just wait and see what the IRS does when they start accepting/rejecting returns.   Post back here when you know if the return was accepted or rejected so we can give help then as needed.  Meanwhile do NOT try to change anything at all on your return.
