IRA Payment Plan

While filing my return just now, I selected a payment plan for Federal. It was suggested that I pay as much as I could upfront and that was my plan, but I must have missed that option before submitting.

 

Is there any way that I can still send this first payment through Turbo Tax or do I have to work with the IRS directly at this point?

You will have to work with the IRS directly since your return has already been filed with TurboTax. 

 

Please see this TurboTax Help article about payment plans. Select IRS Payment Plans and Installment Agreements in the third paragraph. There is also information for state payments.
