Import Spouse Data In An Amended Return

My spouse and I both use TT to file.

I am using the Windows desktop version to amend my spouse's return from filing single to MFJ.

I can see how to import my spouse's docs, but I cannot see how to import my docs such as my1099s.

Is that not possible or am I missing something?

Yes, you should be able to import your 1099's from your financial institution(s).

  1. Sign in to your TurboTax account
  2. Go to Search bar and search for 1099-div or 1099-int or 1099-b (for example).
  3. Select the Jump to 1099
  4. If you selected Form 1099-b, on the Here's all the investment accounts we have so far screen, select the blue Add More Sales and Continue.
  5. On the Let Us Enter  Your Investments Sale info screen, select Import from my bank or brokerage and Continue.
  6. On the Search for Your Financial Institution screen, scroll down and find the financial institution you want to import from. Note: If you don't see your institution, it may not be a TurboTax Import Partner
  7. On the Sign on to XXX screen, enter the information requested. Note: If your wife's information automatically comes up, you may have to clear your cache, cookies and restart your computer.
  8. Continue with the onscreen interview until complete.
