How to get desktop software in order to do the amendment?

I am trying to follow the instructions here:

> You'll need the TurboTax Desktop software to do the amendment. If you filed your 2021, 2022, or 2023 taxes in the online or mobile app version, we'll provide you with the downloadable software when you sign in and follow the amendment procedure (even though returns filed through TurboTax Online can be amended online, changing your married filing status is much easier in the downloadable software).

What steps do I have to take so they will "provide [me] with the downloadable software"? I don't see that option anywhere.

When you are in the account and click on 2022 you will see the instructions to amend. The link you need to download will be supplied as you go through the amend steps. Be sure to pick the correct download, either Windows or MAC version.

Do I need to be on Windows or Mac to see that?

I am trying to get access to a Windows PC, but right now I'm on Linux and don't see any option about that.

Sorry, yes you need a Windows or Mac computer.
