How long does it take the irs to accept my return

Typically about 48 hours, however the IRS just started processing tax returns yesterday January 27, 2020 so it could take a little longer. Once the IRS accepts your tax return and processes it, it takes about 21 days to receive your refund when you e-file. Should I be concerned my return has not been excepted yet and I filed on 1/29/20? Turbo gave me today's date but it still shows pending. It is also 6:22 am does it happen all day?

Did you check the IRS Where's my Refund? site to check the status of your return?  The IRS updates the refund status once a day usually in the overnight hours.
