How do you know the IRS received your e-file?

It has been over 48 hrs since I e-filed my taxes. Why haven't I heard from anyone that they have been received?

Use this TurboTax website to check the status of an e-filed return and if it was either accepted or rejected - https://turbotax.intuit.com/tax-tools/efile-status-lookup/

Using the desktop editions -
Click on the File menu
Click on Electronic Filing>Check electronic filing status

You will receive and email from TurboTax and/or the IRS. It is possible that your return status may not be posted for a week or so, as the IRS is very busy at this time.

There are a few ways you can track your tax return.
